5k in one month

It took me one month to be able to run 3.25 miles in 32 minutes in the vibram shoes. It’s still tiring but I have no major pains the next day. More importantly, my right knee hasn’t been complaining and I recently realized that I can now stretch my hamstrings without my piriformis getting in the way.

I believe that more than getting me more into shape, running in a barefoot style has been helping me a lot with muscle imbalance. Beats the hell out of stretching a lot during the day and visiting the PT for several weeks.

Best 70$us I’ve ever spent on my health.
