neva em Portugal! Pois e’, qdo liguei o lappie esta manha todas as pessoas me diziam que estava a nevar em Portugal, que o mundo estava todo maluco, que era do aquecimento global, etc, etc…

Por outro lado, um amigo meu faz anos hoje e tem uma mini festa. E eu cheio de pena de nao poder estar presente. enfim…

Este disco da-me razoes para viver em momentos de depressao e faz-me feliz na infelicidade. Nao seria a mesma pessoa sem este disco nem conseguiria perceber como e’ boa a vida. Obrigado Keith.

Ok, I admit, it wasn’t very wise. Today I woke up and it was snowing A LOT. Here’s the weather.com report as of now:

So, raining I admit that I hate. I hate raining when coming to work, and it can get your laptop wet and stuff… as a side note, no water got in the backpack. My lappie bag is really good. Good to know.

I had never ridden a bike on snow, or, should I say, ice. Yes. Some parts of the roads are blocks of ice. I almost fell off for a couple of times, so I had to be really cautious… but I made it. Now, I need to get some biking pants to put on top of the regular ones. My legs were freakin’ freezing. Not because of the coldness as it was fairly “warm” - minus 5 to 0 C. The simply froze because as the snow kept accumulating on the pants, it slowly melted into freakin’ cold water. Ouch, it hurts :))

But I’m alive. I saw a couple of other crazy bikers out there. So, my friends, crazy guys like me do exist.

Oh yeah. I got a new bike this night and I’m loving the thing - the point I’m making is: I had to bike home. ~6km

It’s a fine second hand bike that has been used extensively (well, the frame has) but it has been given a full check-up by the previous owner (working at a bike shop has its advantages eheh)… nice/new shifting parts, etc, etc. Man, it drives great Now, I am still alive after 6km at -12C. Yep, you can actually not only survive but ride a bike at this temperature :)) I love biking… I hope it doesn’t rain that much so that I can bike a lot during this winter. I simply hate getting wet and working afterwards… No problem in getting wet while driving home and getting a bath… actually, I love that When I was a kid (”when” you say?) I was stupid enough to go biking just after it started raining. There’s something about biking on the rain that I love. hm… wonder what freud would say of that…

So, keep SMSing me to make sure I have not froze do death, eheh. Remember, I can reply to you (ok.. i admit, there’s only person that SMS me…) using the online site of TMN eheh. Btw, I have already won 8 euros online using Euromilhoes. How great is that? You gotta love technology and how it makes stuff possible that we would call sci-fi 10 years ago. Gettin’ old..
